HIRING
POLICY OF SUMMIT ELECTRIC CORP.

employment are accepted regardless of race, religion, sex, age, or disability.
1) Summit Electric Corp. will accept only original employment
application forms provided to the applicant by Summit Electric Corp. We
will not accept photocopies of our forms, or any other forms not provided by
SUMMIT.
2) All job application forms are held open for 30 days, then
discarded.
3) Applications will only be accepted by the company's
designated employment officer. No one else is authorized to accept any
application forms, make any policy statements, or answer any employment related
questions.
4) Applications must be filled out IN PERSON by the applicants
themselves, on the premises at the office of SUMMIT ELECTRIC CORP., or at
another location to be designated by the employment officer.
5) Applications will only be accepted when Summit is actually
hiring new employees.
6) Qualified employees will be selected according to the
following priority list.
A) Former employees of Summit with
favorable work records that wish to return.
B) Persons known or recommended by current employees.
C) Persons known or recommended by other companies that we know.
D) Persons with IEC or ABCI
apprenticeship training.
E) Unknown applicants applying from
our advertisement.
7) Summit Electric will hire the best qualified person when an
opening is available, based on past experience, necessary skills, safety
records, etc.
8) Summit Electric does not "steal" employees from other
contractors. We do not hire persons who are already employed as electricians.
9) Summit Electric reserves the right to override or modify
the above priority list as may be necessary from time to time in order to
accommodate Americans with Disabilities and Affirmative Action Program
applicants.
10) NO still, video, digital, or film cameras or any type of
sound recording equipment is permitted to be used within our building or during
employee interviews.
11) No more than 3 job applicants are permitted within our
offices at any given time.
All job applicants will be provided with a copy of ALL
company rules and policies at the time of their interview.
